Velvet is a very sweet and friendly girl who gets along great with people and dogs of all ages and sizes. She has a bright, happy personality and an infectious smile! She loves cuddling on the couch and enjoys learning new things. Her favorite activity is de-stuffing squeaker toys.

Velvet receives many compliments for her good behavior at the vet office. She is well-behaved in public and enjoys meeting new people and dogs. Velvet will do best in a home environment with a lot of attention and room to run around. She would love having a playful dog friend.

Velvet is health tested, is not at risk for any testable breed-related conditions, and has received good results on her OFA hip, elbow, eye and cardiac exams. She is AKC registered and has a 5 generation pedigree.

Velvet is eager to meet her forever family and will be ready to go home mid-November, after her spay and wellness visit with updated vaccinations.

Lisa is an affectionate and playful girl with a funny sense of humor. She loves giving kisses, which earned her the nickname ‘Licka’! Her favorite toys are nylabones, and she really enjoys tug-of-war and fetch. Lisa loves to play and wrestle with her dog friends but is gentle when playing with people.

Lisa is fun-loving, and quick to learn new things. She works hard to solve any problem she’s presented with and is a fast learner. She is fully crate trained and enjoys having opportunities to relax in her crate.

True to her collie roots, Lisa is a vigilant guardian of her property and will bark to alert you of anything unusual. She would thrive in a home with a large, private yard to patrol and a doggy friend to keep her company.

In public, she is polite and neutral towards strangers with a calm and reserved demeanor, but she quickly warms up, especially when she sees her other friends getting attention. At home, she will briefly bark when first meeting new people or dogs but settles down quickly once she gets comfortable.
